Gallery Talk – Happy 85th Birthday SCM!
May 31 - 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Executive Director Jim Crothers presents a series of tools and implements from the collection acquired since the museum’s founding in 1933. The original mission of the museum was to collect tools and implements reflecting the many farm, home, maritime, and village industries of old-time South County. For this talk, which is a companion to the 2018 exhibit of the same name, Director Crothers has selected a series of artifacts that have become obsolete or are no longer in general use in the 21st Century.
