Exhibits & Collections
The Museum has more than 20,000 artifacts, although
only relatively few are on display at any one time.
So repeat visitors can be pretty sure they'll see things
they haven't seen before. Collections include farm tools
and animal-powered machines; letterpresses − among
them a Linotype, a Ludlow, and a Heidelberg − fonts and
related equipment; textile arts; blacksmithing tools;
hand-held muscle-powered carpentry tools, horse-drawn
carriages and sleighs, 19th-century kitchenware, period
wedding dresses and other clothing.
