Visiting South County Museum
Admission Hours and Rates
We are open to the general public from the first weekend in May through September. Special arrangements
can be made for October by calling the museum.
Spring and Fall Hours — May, June & September:
Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 4.
Summer Hours — July & August:
Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 to 4.
The Visitor Center office -- but not the exhibits -- is open year-round, Wednesdays & Fridays, 10-1.
Seniors or AAA: $9
Children 6-12: $5
Children under 6: Free
Active Duty Military Families: Free
Museum Members: Free
The Museum accepts credit cards.
Accessibility & Special Services
All of our exhibit buildings are wheelchair-accessible.
Bathroom facilities are available in the Visitors Center and the Metz Exhibit Building.
A baby-changing station is in the women’s room in the Metz Exhibit Building.
Policies and Guidelines
Please do not disturb the animals. Animals are unpredictable: horns, hooves, teeth and beaks can cause injury.
Walk carefully when you're in the farm − large farm animals may have preceded you.
