Area Map & Directions

Ted Wright (formerly Dillon) Rotary is at the far left, center;
The south end of the Narragansett Town Beach is at the far
right, center. Visitors should use Strathmore Street (next to
the marker for the Narragansett Indian Monument) off
Kingstown Road). 

Some map sites indicate that the Museum is accessible via
Anne Hoxsie Lane off Route 1A, but that road is closed to all
automotive traffic except occasional overflow beach parking. 

From the North:

Route 95 South to Route 4 and to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1.

Just beyond Wakefield, look fo the Narragansett/South County
Museum sign. Take that exit.

Turn left at the end of the ranp. Go under the bridge and into
the rotary and follow the signs to Narragansett.

After about a mile turn left onto Strathmore Street at the traffic light.
You'll see a large wooden sculpture of a Native American and the
museum sign on the left. Follow the signs through the Canonchet
Farms residential area to the Museum.

From the South:

Route 95 North to Exit 92, North Stonington.

Follow Route 2 to Route 78 East. Take Route 78 to Route 1 North.
Foillow route 1 North to the Point Judith/Block Island exit.

At the top of the exit ramp off Route 1 turn right onto Woodruff Avenue,
get into the left lane and stay there through the first light.

At the second light turn left, then bear left toward the rotary. Turn right
at the rotary and follow the signs 
to Narragansett.

After about a mile turn left onto Strathmore Street at the traffic light.
You'll see a large wooden 
sculpture of a Native American and the
museum sign on the left. Follow the signs through the Canonchet
Farms residential area to the Museum.
