South County Museum’s Living History Farm is home to two heritage Rhode Island Red Chicken flocks. Each year, the museum hatches almost 200 baby chicks to start a new generation of egg layers.
This Summer Family Event is a great event for young and old alike. Between 400 – 600 visitors join us each year for one of the museum’s most popular events to celebrate our Rhody pride in the state’s favorite bird. Reservations require
