Summer has finally arrived and South County Museum is making a big song and dance about it! Get your groove on at The “Music at the Museum” concert with live music, yard games, and local fare on June 26th from 4:00-9:00 pm. 

Dance the night away with 4 local Rhode Island performers, including Third Signal, Rhode to Bali, Guess Method, Dudemanbro. Your family can enjoy a lively mix of tunes, from bluesy-island and indie-jazz beats to rock reggae jams. Get a taste of local flavors with Rhode Island food truck favorites the whole family can enjoy, including Gansett Poke, Paco’s Tacos, and RI Cruisin’ Cocktails. Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes for a historic night of music and dancing on our sprawling campus!

Commercial Fishing Opening Night Raffle

 

South County Museum is proud to announce the official opening of the Metz Exhibit Hall, as well as the preview of our brand new exhibit “Commercial Fishing – The Early Years” on May 14th, from 5:00-7:00 PM. This event will feature the raffle of a breathtaking watercolor painting generously donated by Robert Chase. He has captured the art of trap fishing, and this treasure could be yours to take home!

Tickets are $10, or $50 for 6. Tickets are available through the end of May. The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the month.
